EZ Aqua Connect Privacy Notice

Plain-language summary: EZ Aqua Connect is Evan Bransfield’s digital business card for EZ Aqua Haven. We collect what you choose to send us (for example a demo or contact request) and basic, non-invasive information about how the page is used, so we can respond to you, follow up on business interest, and make the experience better. We do not sell your personal information.

Who operates this service

EZ Aqua Connect is operated by Evan Bransfield, founder of EZ Aqua Haven (“we”, “us”). Privacy questions and requests: bransfieldet@ezprovisionsllc.com.

Information we collect

Contact information you submit: name, email, phone, and optionally your business/organization and message, along with the type of request (demo or contact), which profile view you were using, how you arrived (for example a Dot Band tap or a campaign tag), your device type, and your approximate country/region.
Interaction data: events such as page views, Dot Band entry, profile view changes, which product sections were viewed, opening the agent, asking a question, starting or submitting a request, tapping call/text/email/social/website/app links, saving the contact card, and sharing the profile, each with a timestamp.
Device and browser information: a coarse device type (mobile, tablet, desktop), browser family and operating system family derived from your browser’s user-agent. We do not store the raw user-agent string and we do not fingerprint devices.
Referral and campaign information: the referring website’s domain (not the full address), campaign tags in the link you followed (such as utm_source), and whether you arrived by tapping a Dot Band.
Approximate location: country and region only, when our hosting provider supplies it. We do not collect precise location.
Network and security data: your IP address is used briefly to protect the service from abuse (rate limiting). We keep it only as a one-way salted hash in short-lived counters, never in our lead or analytics records. Our hosting and infrastructure providers may keep standard security logs.
AI questions: questions you type into “Ask the Agent” are sent, together with the earlier messages of that same conversation, to our AI service provider, Anthropic, to generate an answer. We do not store the text of your questions or the answers; we record only coarse information such as the question’s length and general topic. Please don’t enter sensitive personal information into the agent.
Private investor links: if you open a personal investor link, we record that the link was used and when, so it can expire or be revoked. We do not record who opened it beyond the interaction data above.
Browser storage: a random session identifier kept in your browser’s session storage (cleared when you close the tab). We do not use advertising cookies or cross-site trackers.

Why we use it

To provide the profile, contact tools, Save Contact card, and the agent experience.
To respond to your demo or contact request and follow up with you about it (sales and demo follow-up).
For business development: understanding which marine businesses are interested in EZ Aqua Haven, the EZ Aqua Intelligence Agent and related EZ Aqua Haven products and services, and contacting you about opportunities reasonably related to your request.
To measure what works, fix problems, and improve our products and this experience (operational and product improvement).
To keep the service secure, prevent spam and abuse, and comply with legal obligations.

If we want to use your information for a purpose that is materially different from these, we will update this notice first and, where required, ask for your consent.

Service providers

We use service providers (processors) who handle information on our behalf under their own terms and our configuration: our website hosting provider, Render; Supabase (database and owner sign-in; our database is hosted in the United States); Anthropic (our AI service provider, only for questions you send to the agent); and Google Workspace (our email provider, for owner sign-in emails). We may also disclose information to professional advisers, when required by law, to protect rights and safety, or as part of a merger, financing, or transfer of the business, in which case this notice would continue to apply.

What we don’t do

We do not sell your personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
We do not use your information to train AI models.
We do not show visitors any other visitor’s information. Leads and analytics are visible only to the authenticated owner.

How long we keep it

Demo and contact requests: up to 24 months after submission, or longer while we have an active business relationship with you, unless you ask us to delete them sooner.
Interaction analytics: up to 13 months.
Rate-limit counters (hashed): about 2 days.

How we protect it

All traffic uses HTTPS. Within EZ Aqua Connect, stored leads and analytics can be viewed only through the owner’s signed-in account, enforced by database row-level security. Database administrator keys and AI keys are kept on the server and never sent to browsers. Forms and the agent are rate-limited. No system is perfectly secure, but we limit what we collect and who can see it.

Your choices and requests

Using this page does not require you to submit anything. You can ask us to access, correct, or delete the information you submitted, or to stop following up, by emailing bransfieldet@ezprovisionsllc.com. We will respond within a reasonable time and as required by applicable law.

Children

EZ Aqua Connect is a business service and is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect their information.

Changes to this notice

We will update this notice (and the date above) when our practices change. The current version is always available at /privacy.
